In 2010, I covered the outer earthen plasters with lime plasters made of powdered lime, silica sand and some ferrous sulfate fertilizer for color. The earthen plasters had not worn out, the the woodpeckers were pecking holes in them in some areas and lime is more weatherproof than earthen plasters. Here is the redone front porch and nicho.
